Fundraising Manager/Executive (Part-Time)

We are seeking a part-time Fundraising Manager/Executive to join our team. This is a new position in the company and the ideal candidate should have experience in fundraising for non-profit organisations, as well as a strong appreciation of contemporary dance and the performing arts.

 

As a Fundraising Manager/Executive, you will report to the General Manager and be responsible for identifying and pursuing fundraising opportunities, building relationships with donors and sponsors, and managing fundraising campaigns and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies that align with the company’s values, goals and mission.

  • Research and identify potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities.

  • Create, manage, write and deliver compelling fundraising materials, including grant proposals, solicitation letters, pitch decks and donor recognition programmes.

  • Cultivate, build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing donors, sponsors, and other key stakeholders, including individuals, corporations, foundations and government agencies, to secure ongoing and incoming support and to ensure that their contributions are recognised and appreciated through donor recognition programmes or otherwise.

  • Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and events that align with T.H.E's branding and values.

  • Develop and manage the company’s annual fundraising budget with clear income projections and projected expenditure.

  • Track and report on fundraising progress through conducting regular research and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising strategies and making recommendations for improvements.

  • Collaborate and coordinate with other colleagues in the company to ensure that fundraising efforts are aligned with our artistic vision and goals and that fundraising messaging is consistent with the company’s branding and identity.

Requirements

  • Substantial knowledge of fundraising best practices, including donor cultivation, grant writing, and campaign planning.

  • Strong communication skills to create compelling fundraising messages and materials that effectively communicate the company's vision, mission and impact; this includes the ability to craft effective fundraising pitches and deliver compelling presentations to potential donors, corporates or partners.

  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, listen actively, demonstrate empathy and establish rapport so that meaningful relationships with potential funders are built and maintained.

  • Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyse data, evaluate fundraising strategies, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Familiarity with Singapore's arts and cultural scene.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment.

  • At least 2 years of experience in fundraising for non-profit organisations, preferably with a focus in the performing arts.

  • Appreciation of contemporary dance.

Working Conditions

  • This is a part-time position, with the potential to evolve into a full-time role based on the candidate’s performance and the company’s growing needs. The exact number of work hours per week is subject to the candidate’s availability and the company’s schedule.

  • Please note that the position title (Manager or Executive) will be determined based on the candidate's level of experience. 

  • The company’s general working hours are 10:00AM—7:00PM from Mondays to Fridays. However, during periods when the company has productions or other programmes, you may be required to adjust your work hours to work evenings and weekends.

Compensation

  • The monthly salary for a full-time Fundraising Manager/Executive is between SGD2,700 to SGD4,100, commensurate with experience.

  • As this is a part-time position, the salary will be prorated based on the exact number of work hours per week.
